All products contain 100% thermal water from the Fonte delle Ninfe Nitrodi on the island of Ischia.
The millenary waters of the Fonte delle Ninfe Nitride (spring of the nymphs of Nitrodi) are classified as "mineral water, hypothermic, bicarbonate, sulphate, alkaline and alkaline earth" and flow out on the surface at a temperature of 28 ° C; they are waters rich in bicarbonate, sodium, potassium, calcium, silica, magnesium, sodium and sulphur.
They perform a trophic-scratching, anti-inflammatory, soothing, keratinic and calming action, stimulate regeneration of the skin by improving skin hydration and are indicated in the treatment of various dermatological conditions such as acne, eczema, itching, dermatitis (also allergic and Contact, atopic and seborrhoea), neurodermatitis and psoriasis.
Recently (from 2015 to 2017), the scientific study of Prof. Amelia Filippelli and Prof. Maria Costantino of the University of Salerno has shown that such waters are effective in treating psoriasis.
In our spa facility, psoriasis can be treated with both balneotherapy and spa therapies. A complete care cycle lasts for 12 sessions of balneotherapy with a half-day healing cycle to prevent or reduce the thermal reaction. The balneotherapy session involves the total or partial immersion of the body (excluding the head) in an individual bathtub for a total duration of 20 minutes. Once the crenotherapy bath is finished, the patient is left to rest and dries off in the sun and / or the air for 20-30 minutes. Thermal shower treatment involves taking multiple showers during the day for 10 to 15 minutes and allowing yourself to dry in the sun and/or air.
The dermatological recovery path can be supplemented and completed using specific products; for this purpose, a specific eudermic line was formulated to support the treatment of psoriasis and dermatitis. In particular: Nitrodi thermal water, face-body soothing cream, Apsor Oil shower and bath, and finally the Lenitive Apsor Shampoo ideal in combating scarring, erythema and itchy scalps.
